2006

The company was founded at the Karolinska Institute by Peter Wolpert and Marie Moberg.
Acquisition of a patent and project portfolio based on research since the end of the 1980s by the Swedish dermatologist Dr Sven Moberg at Sahlgrenska University Hospital.


2007

Clinical Phase II results for Kaprolac® Scalp Solution for treatment of seborrhoeic eczema.
Financing of SEK 28m.


2008

Clinical Phase III results for Emtrix® in 493 patients.
Clinical Phase III trial regarding Kaprolac® Scalp Solution.
Acquisition of all assets from the bankruptcy estate of Zelmic Technologies AB, including the pharmaceutical projects A-Fizz™ and Limtop, patent applications and laboratory equipment.
Financing of SEK 40m.
Licence agreement with MedPharm Ltd on access to a patent‑protected formulation technology.


2009

Distribution agreement on sales of the company's nail preparation Emtrix® in the Nordic countries with Antula Healthcare AB.
Clinical Phase I/II results for atopic eczema.
Patent application for MOB-015.
SEK 4.2m in grants from Vinnova (Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems) for development of MOB-015.
Registration of three cosmetic products in the Kaprolac® series with the Swedish Medical Products Agency.
Financing of SEK 40m from both existing and new owners.


2010

Marketing authorization (CE mark) in Europe for Emtrix®.
Marketing authorization (CE mark) in Europe for Kaprolac® Scalp Solution.
Loan facility of SEK 50m with Shejk M. Al-Amoudi. Distribution agreement for Emtrix® on a number of markets.
Launch of Emtrix® starting in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland.
Application for clinical Phase II trial for MOB-015.
2011

Launch of Emtrix® in the United States, Canada, Portugal and Switzerland. 
Listing on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm, main list.
Financing of SEK 86m from both existing and new owners.
Clinical phase II trial regarding MOB-015 in 237 patients.
Marketing authorization (CE mark) in Europe for Kaprolac® Skin Repair and Hydration.
Several distribution agreements for Emtrix®, including a distribution agreement with Meda for a number of major European markets.
2012

Moberg Pharma and Pharmaplan sign distribution agreement for Nalox™/Emtrix® in South Africa.
Start of phase II clinical trial for Limtop.
Distribution agreement for Nalox™/Emtrix® in Iran.
Walmart doubles the distribution of Kerasal® Nail in the U.S.
Establishment of own market presence in the U.S. through the acquisition of Moberg Pharma North America (former Alterna LLC).
